Downtown Salisbury Invites Public Input On Proposed Social District

Downtown Salisbury Inc. is inviting the public to provide input on the Downtown Salisbury Social District. The input sessions will focus on the Bring Business Back to Downtown Bill by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission that aims to increase economic vitality in North Carolina downtowns.
The City of Salisbury has the opportunity to permit downtown alcohol-selling establishments and merchants to participate in a social district, in which people can drink outside of restaurants and bars in designated areas and shops.
