Weekend kicks off with Buskers’ Bash
Downtown Salisbury hosts its first Bell Tower BREWFEST beer festival, Saturday, Oct. 8, at Bell Tower Green, in partnership with the Historic Salisbury Foundation’s OctoberTour weekend of events. Visitors are able to purchase combination tickets to both events, celebrating all things craft beer, history, music and fun.
The weekend kicks off with Salisbury’s Buskers’ Bash, which celebrates the best local talent from musicians to dancers to magicians on Friday, Oct. 7. The event begins at 5 p.m., while the music begins at 5:30 p.m. The Bash is free to the public. Guitar pick voting packs will be located throughout Downtown Salisbury.
he festivities continue with the Bell Tower BREWFEST on Saturday, Oct. 8, from noon to 5 p.m., at Bell Tower Green. The ticketed event will allow attendees, 21 years of age or older, to experience the diverse flavors offered by more than 20 craft breweries from across North Carolina. Attendees also will enjoy live music from 9DayTrip and Divided by Four, food trucks, and with the combined ticket, historic home tours planned by the Historic Salisbury Foundation. Although BREWFEST concludes at 5 p.m., 20 Ride -- a Zac Brown Tribute Band -- will perform a concert in the park.

AGE RESTRICTION: All ticket holders must be 21 years old, and hold a state-issued photo I.D. showing date of birth. Each individual ticket holder must be present when checking in or purchasing tickets. Two tent locations at Bell Tower Green, 120 S. Church St., will be open to purchase tickets and check in attendees.
