The Salisbury Police Department is now accepting applications for the (2018) Fall College Semester Internships. Police interns will have the opportunity to work and learn with sworn police officers from both the Patrol and Investigations Divisions. After completing the internship, students will earn college credit while gaining a greater understanding of Evidence-Based Policing, Stratified Policing, Community Policing, and what it takes to be an officer with the Salisbury Police Department.
The Salisbury Police Department’s Internship Program is a highly competitive process. Prospective applicants must have high moral character and a dedication to community oriented policing. Prospective applicants must be currently enrolled in college and follow all course/syllabus expectations.
