- Turn around, don't down. Do not drive through high water. - If you come to an intersection where traffic signals are not working, treat that intersection as a 4-way stop. - Don't drive over power lines. Treat all power lines as if they are live. - Please make way for any emergency vehicles you may see on the road.

Sunday, Sept. 16: The Red Cross is opening a shelter at the Hurley YMCA for residents in imminent threat or danger of rising water or those who have been directed to evacuate by a public official. The shelter will open at 9:30 p.m. Bring pillows, blankets, medications and any other special needs.
Sunday, Sept. 16: The following roadways are closed: "Innes and Rudolph, S Railroad and Military, MLK between Jake and MLK, Klumac between Jake to MLK, W Innes at Grove, Clubhouse and Confederate, Rowan Cir and Terrace Dr, Stokes Ferry at Travis Lane, E Innes and N Arlington St. We will continue to update this list, if more roads are closed. Please remain sheltered unless travel is absolutely necessary.
