As Dorian approaches the Carolinas, Rowan Emergency Services and the City of Salisbury will continue to monitor the storm. We anticipate that our area will experience some limited impacts, including steadily increasing winds after midnight, Thursday, Sept. 5. Late tomorrow morning residents can expect winds around 15 mph with gusts near 30 mph. Windy conditions will remain with us until Friday, Sept. 6. The forecast also calls for less than a tenth of an inch of rain on Friday.
