Now’s the chance to submit a Salisbury neighborhood for BlockWork, a grass-roots program developed in 2010 by the Community Appearance Commission’s Neighborhood Leaders Alliance (NLA) to beautify Salisbury neighborhoods.

	The Tree Board meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. via Zoom meeting.

Cheerwine, the iconic 105-year-old soft drink, and its hometown of Salisbury will welcome  two bands, Blues Traveler and Spin Doctors, to the Hotwire Communication Stage as this year’s headliners. This year’s outdoor celebration is scheduled for Saturday, May 21, from noon to 10 p.m., against the backdrop of Salisbury’s historic downtown.
	
	
	
	
	
	
	
	Free movie and music series takes place at Bell Tower Green
	
	
	Lights! Camera! Action! And Music! Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department presents Reels and Riffs, a movie and music series at Bell Tower Green. Community members are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks to the free shows sponsored by Salisbury Parks and Recreation, Visit Rowan County and Downtown Salisbury Inc.
	
	
	
	
	
	
	The Salisbury Police Department will hold the 2022 Free Summer Crime Scene Camp on June 22 and July 20 at the Old YMCA located at 220 North Fulton Street.  This one-day camp is for anyone between the age of 11 and 15 yrs old.   The camp starts at 8 am and will end at 1 pm with Lunch provided.  The camp will provide a hands-on experience and allow participants to experience what is required of a crime scene Officer.
	
	
	
	
	
	
	
	
	The Salisbury Police Department hosts a monthly Salisbury Neighborhood Action Group (SNAG) meeting. At these meetings, citizens will hear monthly updates concerning drug investigations, criminal investigations, and code enforcement issues.
