The Salisbury Youth Council has regular meetings on the 2^nd Monday of each month at 6 p.m. The location varies, we visit different city departments.  We hold a second monthly meeting that’s a project or activity.

The City Council is the governing body of the City of Salisbury. The Council is comprised of five members who are elected on a non-partisan basis for two-year terms. Each Council member serves at-large and represents the entire City.

Perigee by Greensboro, N.C. sculptor Dane Winkler has won Best in Show in the 2018 Salisbury Sculpture Show “Discover What’s Outside.”

This was the 10th year the Salisbury Public Art Committee has hosted the nine-month long, award-winning Sculpture Show, with 16 art pieces enlivening the downtown, four on college campuses, and three displayed in the county.
