Salisbury Transit has partnered with AECOM, a transportation planning and engineering firm, to provide a comprehensive long-range public transportation master plan for its transportation system. As part of the long-range planning, a community survey, available in English and Spanish, will be provided online at salisburync.gov/TransitSurvey.

Holiday Lights Trip

Hop on the Parks and Recreation bus to see the holiday lights! On Saturday, Dec 13 we will be visiting Charlotte Motor Speedway, bus leaves at 5:30 p.m. sharp! New Year's Eve at the Bell Tower

This free event lets you watch live video feed of the ball drop in New York Times Square, while enjoying games, live music and refreshments. This year the location will be back at the Bell Tower. Drop in on Monday, Dec. 31 from 9 pm to midnight!

Employee Spotlight: Bryan Solomon, Maintenance Worker

If you’ve seen public services crews working, you have probably seen Bryan Solomon. He is a native of Salisbury and a seven-year veteran of the City of Salisbury Public Services Department. As a maintenance worker, Bryan performs his job throughout the year in varying weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Celebrating MLK in 2019

New Tool Keeps An Eye On Water

Salisbury-Rowan Utilities (SRU) announces the full launch of a new, free web-based customer service tool called EyeOnWater. EyeOnWater gives customers their water usage data gathered by SRU’s “smart meters” in near real time so they can manage their accounts down to the week, day, or even hour.
