The City of Salisbury’s utility contractor is scheduled to begin construction on the McCoy Road culvert replacement on Sunday, April 4. A preliminary schedule of work is below. Residents should be aware this schedule is preliminary and dependent upon factors such as weather and material delivery.
Equipment mobilization and pre-construction erosion control has begun and additional prep work will continue prior to actual construction activities. Once culvert installation has been completed, grading, seeding, and paving will follow with project completion anticipated by the end of June.
Residents in the area will have access to and from their home during all phases of the project. While the goal is minimum disruption of normal neighborhood traffic, crews appreciate citizens’ patience as an improvement of this magnitude will likely cause some inconveniences. Again, please note this project is weather and material dependent and may require adjusting.
