The City of Salisbury’s budget and performance management department has received the Distinguished Budget Presentation award from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for the City’s FY2017-2018 budget. The GFOA’s Distinguished Presentation Awards program is the only national awards program in governmental budgeting. Salisbury was one jurisdiction out of only 1,177 throughout the U.S. and Canada to receive the award.

Salisbury City Council and city staff will host the second in a series of community town hall meetings titled, Chit, Chat & Chew, Tuesday, June 26, beginning at 5:15 p.m., at J.C.
