The Salisbury Police Department is investigating a shooting on Catawba College’s campus during a high school basketball tournament where two young males were injured.
The shooting took place today just after 8 p.m. in the lobby of the Goodwin Gymnasium during the annual Sam Moir Christmas Classic Basketball Tournament.
One juvenile was taken to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, while the second victim was taken to Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. The status of the victims’ injuries are unknown at this time.
