New this year, the Salisbury Public Arts Commission is hosting a meet and greet event with the talented artists of the Salisbury Sculpture Show on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
The Sculpture Show is a temporary exhibit of outdoor sculptures, carefully selected from an open application process. The works represent a wide range of sculptural styles and materials. Each sculpture is placed to best complement the piece and its setting. Sculptures are placed in downtown areas, local colleges, and local neighborhoods.
The public is invited to drop in on Thursday, May 2 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at City Hall Council Chambers located at 217 S. Main Street. The event is free and open to the public. Coffee and breakfast items will be provided. Funding is made possible by the Rowan Arts Council NC Grassroots Program as well as the Salisbury-Rowan Community Foundation.
