Emplyee Spotlight: Samira Wolf
This month’s employee spotlight is Samira Wolf, a police officer with the Salisbury Police Department, serving as a member of the Adam Team. Samira works the dayshift, protecting and serving the citizens of Salisbury. Her role involves a variety of tasks, from conducting traffic stops and responding to emergency calls to enforcing city ordinances and engaging with the community during foot patrol. In addition, Samira is a field training officer where she has the opportunity to mentor and train newer officers, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle the responsibilities of the job on their own.
“For me, being a public servant is more than just a job – it’s a calling to serve and make a difference. Interacting with individuals and getting out in the community is one of my favorite things to do. I love building rapport with people and letting them know that there are officers who genuinely care about them. The law enforcement profession is very rewarding. Whether it’s helping keep our streets safe by removing dangerous substances, making an arrest to protect someone, or even assisting with changing a flat tire to get them to their destination. That’s what the calling is -it’s about making a positive impact in people’s lives.”
