Employee Spotlight: Mark Drye, Senior Management Analyst

     Mark Drye is a senior management analyst for the City of Salisbury Finance Department. Mark has worked with the city for over 22 years. In addition to his current role as an analyst, Mark also co-manages the Salisbury Customer Service Department.
     Mark’s duties include replying to financial inquiries, processing W2s for all city employees, conducting an in-depth research of historical financial data as requested when developing the city’s fiscal year budget and the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).
     “I enjoy doing research. The challenge of looking for information, gathering the data and developing the finished product is my favorite part. A lot of people may consider dealing with numbers boring or hard, but it’s what you make it. You may have challenges and that’s fine.”
