After you fill your buckets with goodies, make your way over to the fabulous new Bell Tower Green Park for entertainment and games! Dress to impress for our costume contest starting at 7:00 p.m.
The City of Salisbury will operate on the following schedule for the Labor Day holiday, Monday, Sept. 5:
Last month, four City of Salisbury lifeguards on duty gave medical attention to a three-year-old toddler. The lifeguards provided aid until the paramedics arrived, roughly five minutes after the lifeguards called, and they whisked the toddler to the hospital. It has been reported to the City of Salisbury that the child received the medical care he needed and will be okay.
The Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department invites community members and businesses to participate in the fall 2022 adult kickball league. The fall league starts September 19 and runs through October 20.

The Beginners' Running Training Program is an eight-week course designed to take you from a beginning runner to 5K runner. Each evening begins with approximately 30 minutes of classroom instruction then we hit the streets for a run that gradually increases in distance from 1/2 mile to 3.1 miles.
West End residents are encouraged to complete the survey for the West End Salisbury Transformed Empowered Neighborhood Development (WEST END) $800,000 grant project in conjunction with the Salisbury Police Department, Parks and Recreation Department, Community Planning Department and the Salisbury-Rowan NAACP. The Salisbury Police Department, in partnership with Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department, Salisbury Community Planning Department and Salisbury-Rowan NAACP, will conduct surveys throughout the West End community for the West End Salisbury Transformed Empowered Neighborhood Development (WEST END) project. The WEST END project is made possible by an $800,000 Byrne Criminal Justice Innovation (BCJI) grant from the Department of Justice.
