Salisbury Fire Department Announces Promotions

SALISBURY, N.C., (June 18 2019) -- Salisbury Fire Chief Robert Parnell is pleased to announce the following promotions of Kevin J. Burges, Stephen R.J. Carter, Theodore J. Reaume and Brantley C. Shanks all to the rank of Captain. 

Captain Burges joined the department in 2011, is assigned to Ladder 1 “B” Shift, and serves as the training officer for “B” Shift.  Captain Carter has been with the department since 2009 and is assigned to Engine 4 “C” Shift.  Captain Reaume also has over nine years of service and is assigned to Engine 4 “A” Shift.  Captain Shanks joined the department in 2012 and is assigned to Rescue 1 “B” Shift.

Fire Chief Parnell also announced the promotions of Christopher R. Renfrow and Casey G. Stiller to Engineer II. Engineer Renfrow joined the department in 2014 and is assigned to Ladder 1 “C” Shift.  Engineer Stiller joined the department in 2016 and is assigned to Rescue 1 “C” Shift.  All of the above promotions were effective Monday June 10, 2019.
