Updated for clarification: The Salisbury Police Department is investigating a crime scene at 1935 Jake Alexander Blvd. where six victims were shot at approximately 12:05 a.m. following a party at Thelma’s Restaurant.
One victim was flown to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, while five others were transported to Rowan Regional Medical Center. The most serious victim is listed as stable. The names of the victims will not be released at this time.
Other related injuries include two trampling victims and one treated for anxiety.
The scene remains active and is still under investigation. The State Bureau of Investigation is assisting.
Salisbury Police is seeking cell phone video footage or photos from attendees.
