Live music, local vendors, and Cheerwine-inspired treats take over downtown May 16
Get ready, Salisbury – the annual Cheerwine Festival is back, Saturday, May 16, bringing a full day of music, food, and family fun to downtown. The free festival runs from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and turns downtown into a walkable, family-friendly celebration of local flavor and community spirit.
This year’s official Cheerwine Festival t-shirt highlights the creativity of student artists. Designed by Subee Vongsavanh, a senior at Carolina Forest High School in Myrtle Beach, SC, it will be available for purchase during the event.
The festival will feature a full lineup of performances throughout the day, including Crystal Aria Band, Big Break, Chris Taylor & the Rumor, and The Stranger, a Billy Joel tribute band. Beyond the stage, attendees can enjoy interactive entertainment such as stilt walkers, jugglers, and other street performers.
The festival will also include Cheerwine-inspired food, drinks, and crafts, local vendors and artisans, a family-friendly Fun Zone, and a beer garden for guests 21+.
