City of Salisbury 2026 Juneteenth Holiday Operations Schedule
Salisbury, N.C. (Monday, June 15, 2026) – The City of Salisbury will operate on the following schedule for the Juneteenth holiday, Friday, June 19.
- City office buildings, including the Salisbury Customer Service Center and all recreation centers, will be closed.
- The Fred M. Evans Pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Salisbury Community Park will be open from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- The city’s public works department will offer its regular garbage and recycling collection. The department will not offer limb collection. The City of Salisbury compost site is closed.
- Salisbury Transit Routes 1 and 2, Salisbury Connect (Microtransit / Route 3 / Blue Zone), and ADA Paratransit services will offer regular transit services on Friday, June 19.
- Salisbury-Rowan Utilities administrative offices will be closed. In case of a water/sewer emergency during the holiday or after hours, customers should call (704) 638-5339. The 24-hour online bill pay service will be available at salisburync.gov/customerservice.
- The police and fire departments will remain available for emergency services, as usual, during the holiday.
