SALISBURY, N.C. (July 27, 2026) – The City of Salisbury and the Salisbury Police Department will celebrate the 43rd annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bell Tower Green. Everyone is invited to participate, meet and interact with Police Department staff.
The celebration will include free food, music and activities for all ages. Community organizations specializing in health, education and other resources will also be on hand. Neighborhood associations, community groups and homeowner associations are welcome to participate.
Salisbury Transit will provide free bus transportation to the event. Riders will not be charged after 4 p.m., and all routes will leave the park by 7:30 p.m.
In support of this community event, the Salisbury City Council meeting scheduled for the same date will begin early at 3:00 p.m., allowing Council members to attend the event after the meeting has been adjourned.
