City of Salisbury Labor Day Operations Schedule
Salisbury, N.C. (Monday, August 31, 2026) – The City of Salisbury will operate on the following schedule for the Labor Day holiday, Monday, September 7.
- City office buildings, including the Salisbury Customer Service Center and City recreation facilities will be closed on Monday, September 7.
- The Fred M. Evans Pool will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Salisbury Community Park will be open from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Bell Tower Green will operate on its regular schedule, with restrooms open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- The City’s public works department will offer its regular garbage and recycling collection. The department will not offer limb collection. The City of Salisbury compost will be closed.
- Salisbury Transit, Salisbury Connect Microtransit, and ADA Paratransit services will not operate. Regular services will resume on Tuesday, September 8, at 6 a.m.
- Salisbury-Rowan Utilities administrative offices will be closed. In case of a water/sewer emergency during the holiday or after hours, customers should call (704) 638-5339. The 24-hour online bill pay service will be available at SalisburyNC.gov/customerservice.
- The police and fire departments will remain available for emergency services, as usual, during the holiday.
