Are you looking for a way to help make the City of Salisbury a cleaner, and more beautiful place to live? Then Salisbury’s Adopt-A-Street Program would be perfect for you and/or your organization.
By participating in the program, your group or business agrees to pick up litter monthly for two years along four blocks of roadway within city limits. Your adopt-a-street coordinator must be at least 21 years of age, and ensure that each group member has a clear understanding of the program’s safety procedures.
As an Adopt-A-Street volunteer, you and your organization will receive:
    - A list from the city of potential streets for adoption

    - Media acknowledgment for your clean-up efforts

    - Clean up supplies such as trash bags, safety vests, gloves and
other equipment provided from the city

    - Certificates of appreciation will also be presented to your group
for your hard work and commitment.
