The victim who was pronounced deceased at the scene has been identified as Charles William, an 80-year-old resident of Salisbury. The child, who was also injured in this incident remains in the ICU in critical condition at a local hospital.

The Public Arts Commission features sculptures throughout the downtown area, Salisbury’s three local colleges, Horizons Unlimited, and Trinity Oaks.
The combined Human Relations Commission Back-to-School Community Resource Fair and Salisbury Police Department National Night Out event, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Aug. 13, 6 p.m. at Bell Tower Green due to anticipated rain.
