Due to inclement weather Salisbury Transit will be operating on a 1 hour delay on 2/18/21. The fixed route and ADA Paratransit service will began transporting passengers at 7:10 a.m. instead of our regular start time of 6:00 a.m.

A winter storm warning has been issued for our area. It is effective today, Wed., Feb. 17, evening through Thurs., Feb. 18. Stay weather aware and prepare now for possible road hazards and power outages.

As temperatures continue to dip, we encourage residents to start thinking about the possibility of pipes freezing in your home. Frozen water pipes are a problem that can happen in homes with both plastic and copper pipes. Take steps to protect your water pipes from freezing and avoid significant property damage.

The date for the 2021 Cheerwine Festival will move from Saturday, May 15, to Saturday, Sept. 18, in anticipation of reductions in COVID-19 restrictions and continued distribution of the vaccine.
