Salisbury Police Detectives have charged Jorod Qutez Young with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Seriously Injure and Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling in connection with the May 2, 2026 shooting in the 600 block of Vance Avenue.

City Manager Jim Greene presented the proposed FY 2026 – 2027 budget of $131,702, 978 during a special May 18 City Council meeting.
