On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at approximately 10:03 PM, the Salisbury Police Department responded to 1205 South Main Street in reference to an individual who had sustained a gunshot wound. Arriving Officers located two females and one infant that had sustained gunshot wounds. First responders quickly arrived and transported one female and the infant to Baptist Hospital with life-threatening injuries and are listed in critical condition. The second female was transported to Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord with non-life-threatening injuries and is listed in stable condition.
No suspects have been arrested for this incident.
There is no evidence to suggest that this incident is related to the juvenile who was shot earlier at the intersection of Old Concord Rd and South Shaver Street.
