Salisbury-Rowan Utilities shares annual drinking water quality report

Salisbury-Rowan Utilities (SRU) has released its 2023 Water Quality Report covering all testing performed between January 1 and December 31, 2023.

“We are pleased to present this year’s annual drinking water quality report,” said SRU Director Jim Behmer. “Salisbury’s drinking water remains safe, well within state and federal water quality standards. This reaffirms our commitment to providing city residents and SRU customers with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water.”

The water quality report includes details about SRU’s water source and how its quality compares to standards set by regulatory agencies. The annual report also includes water quality reports for East Spencer, China Grove, and Northeast Rowan County water systems which purchase water from Salisbury-Rowan Utilities.

The report is available electronically at salisburync.gov/waterreport. Printed copies will be available upon request by calling SRU at (704) 638-5300. The report is also available in Spanish.
