This month’s employee spotlight is Dean Ewart, a human resource specialist. In his role, Dean supports the Human Resources department daily with internal and external programs. He also manages payroll responsibilities, ensures employee records are updated and assists with onboarding new City of Salisbury employees.
“My greatest satisfaction comes from interacting with new people within the City and getting to know them. In reviewing photos from generations past of City employees, I found one photo in particular with the caption ‘People working for People.’ I believe this still rings true today. We are all people, whether it is a City employee or a citizen of the City of Salisbury, working with people to meet everyone’s needs.”
