Last month, four City of Salisbury lifeguards on duty gave medical attention to a three-year-old toddler. The lifeguards provided aid until the paramedics arrived, roughly five minutes after the lifeguards called, and they whisked the toddler to the hospital. It has been reported to the City of Salisbury that the child received the medical care he needed and will be okay.

The Beginners' Running Training Program is an eight-week course designed to take you from a beginning runner to 5K runner. Each evening begins with approximately 30 minutes of classroom instruction then we hit the streets for a run that gradually increases in distance from 1/2 mile to 3.1 miles.

There, residents who serve on the Police Chief’s Advisory Board will lead engagement between officers and residents in an open discussion.
The City of Salisbury claimed the top spot in the 2022 “Healthiest Employer” competition among Charlotte area businesses, according to the Charlotte Business Journal. Salisbury has made the list for the past three years in the 100 to 499-employee category. This year was the first time the municipality came in at number one.
