Funds to benefit the 2021 Blockwork project

City of Salisbury will begin nightly road construction, Monday, July 26, in downtown Salisbury in preparation for the Main Street resurfacing project in the fall. The project is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete.
Salisbury Police Detective J.R. Drakeford has been selected as the recipient of the 2021 Special Achievement Award from the North Carolina Gang Investigators Association for his work on statewide gang investigations. He will be honored officially at an awards banquet in August.

The City of Salisbury Transit has resumed regular bus service schedules on its ADA Paratransit and regular fixed routes. Regular transit riders were notified of the service change previously.

The City of Salisbury has been named one of the “Healthiest Employers” in the Charlotte region for the second year in a row. The annual Charlotte Business Journal competition ranked Salisbury in sixth place in the “Employers with 100-499 employees” category.
