The Covenant Community Connection (CCC), a subcommittee of the Salisbury Human Relations Council, hosts a “Supporting Public Education” workshop, Saturday, March 26, First Presbyterian Church, 308 W. Fisher St., from 1 to 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Masks are required.
On Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, meet community members and city staff to collect litter off of MLK Jr. Ave South. We will meet at the Jaycee Optimist Sports Complex (113 S. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave.). From there, we will collect litter on the roadsides.

Salisbury is making a change to its Salisbury-Rowan Utilities’ bill payment system that affects 1 percent of its customers. As the city moves towards reducing its carbon footprint and operating more efficiently, six utility-bill drop box locations in Rowan County – Salisbury (2), China Grove, Rockwell, Granite Quarry and Spencer -- will be removed on Friday, April 1. Some customers already have been alerted to the upcoming transition.
