A Festival To Cheer For

The 2022 Cheerwine Festival is just around the corner, set for Saturday, May 21, noon to 10 p.m. in downtown Salisbury.

Cheerwine fans will enjoy great Southern food, shopping for Cheerwine merchandise, the F&M Bank Kids Zone, the Food Lion Carolina Brands Sampling Area, a beer garden and local craft vendors, thanks to sponsors: F&M Bank, Food Lion, Hotwire Communications, Sharonview Federal Credit Union, Rowan County Tourism Development Authority, Novant, Power Home Remodeling, Gotham Powersports, Planet Fitness, Bradshaw Financial Planning, and of course, Cheerwine!

No festival is complete without rockin’ live music. Five bands are scheduled to perform on the Hotwire Communications stage throughout the day:

  • Lauren Light Trio 2 - 3 p.m.
  • Tsunami Wave Riders 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
  • 9daytrip 5 - 6 p.m.
  • Spin Doctors 6:30 - 8 p.m.
  • Blues Traveler 8:30 - 10 p.m.
