The City of Salisbury’s annual loose leaf collection season begins the week of October 19, giving residents a convenient way to dispose of fallen leaves throughout the fall and winter months. Collection will continue through the week of March 8, 2027.
Residents should place all raked leaves at the curb by Monday morning of their collection week to ensure pickup by Friday. Leaf piles should be no more than five feet deep from the curb and placed at least three feet away from mailboxes, vehicles, utility poles and other obstructions.
To help crews collect leaves safely and efficiently, remove large sticks, limbs, trash and other debris from leaf piles. Leaves also should not block streets, sidewalks or storm drains.
