The City of Salisbury is one of only a handful of North Carolina locations that will serve as the backdrop for the upcoming film, “The 24th,” directed by Academy Award winning director, Kevin Willmott, who co-wrote the screenplay for “The Black KKKlansman.”

The City of Salisbury presents its 2018-2019 street paving list.
Salisbury City Council and city staff will host the seventh in a series of community town hall meetings titled, Chit, Chat & Chew, Thursday, May 30, with dinner beginning at 5:15 p.m., at Grace United Methodist Church, 846 Faith Road.
At approximately 4:45 on May 14, 2019 Rowan County 911 received a call from a driver who advised that his passenger had been shot and that he was enroute to the hospital with the victim. Officers responded to Novant Rowan Medical Center and confirmed that a subject had arrived at the facility with multiple gunshot wounds. Detectives were able to get a detailed description of a suspect and also the vehicle that the suspect was driving.
