This year’s theme is “Whole Hearted Harmony.” Per the Rowan County United Way, “When community leaders embrace our diversity, leverage our combined resources, and partner with other Rowan residents, we extend and expand our ability to address the adversity that some citizens face.”

Homicide Investigation on Old Wilkesboro Rd

 On Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, at approximately 12:52 AM, the Salisbury Police Department was dispatched to 1433 Old Wilkesboro Rd. in reference to a shooting that had just occurred. Arriving Officers located Auburn Odell Clement (27 years old male) with injuries consistent of a shooting. First responders attempted life saving measures but Mr. Clement succumbed to his injures.
