The Salisbury, N.C. Public Art Committee announces a call for entries for the 2020 Salisbury Sculpture Show. Artists are invited to submit their outdoor pieces for consideration in the award-winning art installation program by Friday, Dec. 20.

Salisbury will host White House officials on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 10 a.m., at City Hall to discuss Opportunity Zones and tour those designated census tracts within the City. The event will also feature a community discussion in City Council Chambers, beginning at 11 a.m.  The event is open to the public.

City Park Lake is on track for a major rehabilitation project set to begin in the upcoming months that will lead to extensive work in the area, road closures and anticipated noise.

The City of Salisbury is working with the community to create a new Comprehensive Plan for a stronger and smarter future. Forward 2040 will establish a framework to guide planning priorities and decisions over the next 20 years related to land use, future growth, physical development, and capital improvements.
