Salisbury Police are actively working two separate homicides that occurred overnight Linda McElroy / Sunday, December 4, 2016 0 37680 On Sunday a 1:22am Salisbury Police were called to the Firewater Restaurant and Lounge at 122 Avalon Dr reference a shooting. When officers arrived they were notified that someone had been shot in the parking lot and had been taken to Novant Health Rowan Regional Medical Center by private vehicle. The victim, identified as Sharod Raheen Mathis age 22, died of his injuries. Salisbury Police Criminal Investigators and the State Bureau of Investigations are working the case. Read more
