In his role, Souwan manages multiple human resources projects, serves as a human resources liaison to several City departments, and assists with the recruitment, onboarding and training of city employees. He is also a strategic partner in supporting the City’s “Be the Difference” recruitment campaign.

Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) once again hosts the “A Mile in Their Shoes” offender re-entry simulation, Wednesday, May 24, 9 a.m. at the West End Plaza, 1935 Jake Alexander Blvd. Human service employees, service providers, second-chance employers, and media are invited to attend the simulation to gain an understanding of the obstacles faced by those individuals transitioning back into their communities from incarceration.
