Mayor Responds to Flag Discussion

City of Salisbury 0 49227
Mayor Karen Alexander shares her thoughts with local media about the ongoing discussions about an American flag at Bell Tower Green. As Mayor Alexander mentioned during the Tuesday, August 2nd City Council meeting, infrastructure changes at our community facilities should be approved via proper channels. In this case, the Bell Tower Green Advisory Committee is the appropriate group to talk through feasibility, location, and funding for a flag structure at the park.

Kudos To The Fred M. Evans Pool Lifeguard Staff For Saving Child

Parks and Recreation 0 45760
Last month, four City of Salisbury lifeguards on duty gave medical attention to a three-year-old toddler. The lifeguards provided aid until the paramedics arrived, roughly five minutes after the lifeguards called, and they whisked the toddler to the hospital. It has been reported to the City of Salisbury that the child received the medical care he needed and will be okay.
