Team honored for video production, print and social media projects
The City of Salisbury communications department has been recognized for its video, print and social media projects as part of the North Carolina City & County Communicators (NC3C) Excellence in Communications Awards held Thursday, April 11, at NC3C’s 12th annual Spring Conference in Durham.
Salisbury needs your help for the city nature challenge April 26-29. The City of Salisbury will join cities around the world in a friendly competition to see which area has the most nature-engaged residents. The 2019 City Nature Challenge will start on Friday, April 26, at 12:01 a.m. and end on Monday, April 29, at 11:59 p.m.
The Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department has postponed the Touch-A-Truck event scheduled for Saturday, April 13, at City Hall due to weather. The plan is to reschedule the Truck-A-Trunk event for Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at City Hall, 217 S. Main Street. Salisbury has hired Hannah Berg Jacobson as its new community planning director. In her new role, she will lead the community planning department which includes code enforcement, urban planning and development services.
The City of Salisbury will operate on a limited schedule in observance of Good Friday, Friday, April 19.
