Be The Difference, Be A Remedial Action Plan Coordinator - Employee Spotlight: Karen Barbee Be The Difference, Be A Remedial Action Plan Coordinator - Employee Spotlight: Karen Barbee Salisbury Police Department / Monday, April 1, 2024 0 41534 This month’s employee spotlight is Karen Barbee, the City of Salisbury’s Remedial Action Plan Coordinator. She started her career with the Salisbury Police Department in 1980. She served in many roles including patrol officer, D. A. R. E. Officer and Community Service Officer, Police K-9 handler, and patrol sergeant. Karen was named NC Police Women’s Officer of the Year in 1989. She retired as a lieutenant and returned in July 2017 to work part-time on the Remedial Action Plan. Read more
