The City of Salisbury’s finance department has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020. The Certificate of Achievement for the city’s comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.
The City of Salisbury Public Works Department is inviting residents to participate in the Free Annual Winter Spruce-Up Week scheduled Monday, Jan. 3 through Friday, Jan 7, 2022. Starting a career with the City of Salisbury in 2003 as the City’s first webmaster, Jason Parks currently serves as Video Services Coordinator / TV Station Manager. In his role, Jason does project research, provides audio and video support to City staff, and film projects such as City Council meetings and PSAs. He is also responsible for creating and managing content for WSRG-TV, the City’s local government TV station.
