The City of Salisbury will operate on a limited schedule for the Labor Day holiday, Monday, Sept. 6.
The Third Annual Rowan Creek Week is happening Saturday, August 21 through Saturday, August 28. Creek Week is a week-long celebration of local waters throughout North Carolina. In conjunction with multiple environmental organizations and local municipal departments, Creek Week offers recreational, educational, and volunteer opportunities to allow everyone to enjoy and contribute to healthy waters in our area.

Community survey will gather input for Stormwater Master Plan
The City of Salisbury Public Works Department is launching an online survey on Monday, March 1, to seek input from the community to better understand flooding concerns in Salisbury. The department is investigating stormwater runoff challenges and will develop a Stormwater Master Plan to identify, prioritize, and implement capital improvement projects to proactively upgrade the stormwater system.
Due to inclement weather Salisbury Transit will be operating on a 1 hour delay on 2/18/21. The fixed route and ADA Paratransit service will began transporting passengers at 7:10 a.m. instead of our regular start time of 6:00 a.m.
